About the Chapter: The Sam Johnson Chapter (Chapter 232) of the Air & Space Forces Association was officially chartered in 1947 and represents over 1,200 members across Dallas, Collin, and southeastern Denton counties. Part of AFA Texas – a network of more than 10,000 members – named in honor of Colonel Sam Johnson, a celebrated air-power hero and former U.S. Congressman.
